Because each set is made by hand, color and texture vary slightly from set to set, no two ever look quite alike. The shelf and feeder are finished in quality Berber carpet, installed with heavy-duty decorative upholstery tacks for scratch strength, while the bed uses a soft, supportive foam insert. A polyurethane protective coat keeps the wood shiny and water-resistant.

Installed with wall anchors, the shelf, feeder, and bed are rated to hold up to 40 lbs comfortably and securely, plenty for the vast majority of house cats. The bed insert is machine washable.
