Brian has been building furniture professionally since 1985 — forty years of understanding wood, construction, and what it actually takes to build something that lasts. He founded CatsPlay on the belief that the particle board and hollow tubes passing for cat furniture in big box stores were an insult to both cats and their owners.

Amy is a self-described crazy cat lady with decades of experience in ecommerce — which turns out to be a surprisingly useful combination for running a premium cat furniture site. She came to CatsPlay with a career spent understanding how people shop online, what builds trust, and what makes someone click away. She brought that lens to every product page, every piece of copy, and every curation decision on this site.
Her personal quality tester is Binx — a 16-year-old Flamepoint Siamese with exacting standards and absolutely no patience for furniture that wobbles. He has opinions. Amy listens.
Sarah is our feline behavior voice — and full disclosure, she's the only one on our team who was dreamed up rather than hired. She lives entirely in our heads. The cats insisted.
