The 74-inch height puts this tower in gym territory while the material palette - plywood, bamboo, linen, sisal - gives it a warmth that most synthetic towers miss. The 2-story cat condo is the centerpiece: four cat holes at different positions (including a top opening in the condo roof) mean a cat inside can look up, look out, and remain hidden simultaneously. The bamboo interior keeps the condo cool in warm months.

A sisal scratching mat adds horizontal scratching alongside the standard sisal posts - cats scratch both directions, and having a mat option often redirects them from floor-level furniture. The plush cushion at 16" x 4" provides a padded resting surface on the top perch. The hammock, rated to 11 lbs, adds a swinging rest point mid-tower.

Bamboo is naturally cool to the touch and antimicrobial - it stays fresher longer than fabric interiors and tends to be preferred by cats in warmer months. It's also easy to wipe clean.

What does 4 cat holes mean practically? +

The condo has entrance/exit holes on multiple faces including a roof opening, so the cat inside isn't cornered - it can orient toward any direction. In multi-cat households this reduces ambush anxiety since the cat inside always has a visible exit route.

Is linen fabric more durable than standard plush? +

Linen resists pilling and matting better than most synthetic plush options. It also holds its appearance longer with regular vacuuming. The tradeoff is that it's slightly less soft to the touch than thick plush, though the cushioned perch compensates for that.

How stable is a 74-inch tower on a 23-inch base? +

The square 23" x 23" base and 45 lb weight provide good stability for this height. We recommend placing it with one side against a wall as standard practice for towers above 70 inches.
