Description

A cactus-shaped scratcher that's a real design piece, not just a novelty print.

Sarah, Feline Behavior Lead at CatsPlay.com
Feline Behavior Perspective Feline Behavior Lead

"The shape isn't just decoration -- the angled sisal-wrapped arms give a cat two different scratching angles on one post, which is more functional than it looks at first glance."

Sarah signature Feline Behavior Lead

At 22" tall with a genuinely sculpted cactus silhouette, this scratcher works as a real piece of decor in a room, not something that has to be hidden away between uses. The plush base adds a soft landing spot that doubles as a resting perch.

The sisal-wrapped arms are angled rather than uniformly vertical, which gives a cat a couple of different scratching angles on the same post instead of just one straight surface.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the cactus shape purely decorative? +

No -- the angled arms give a cat multiple scratching surfaces on one post, which is a real functional benefit.

Will it tip over during use? +

At 4 lbs it's lighter than a full cat tree -- placing it in a corner or against a wall helps with stability.

Does the plush base wear out? +

It's built to handle regular resting weight, but like any fabric surface it will show wear over years of use.

Is this a good fit for a small apartment? +

Yes -- its compact 13" x 22" footprint makes it one of the smaller scratching options in the catalog.
