Cat's Dream Wood Cat Climber, Cat Jungle Tree With Platforms, X6105 Skyblue
Budget II: Classic Collection
Safe outdoor access, real climbing territory, and solid Canadian Hemlock construction — this is the catio that actually gets used.

"Most outdoor enclosures on the market are glorified wire cages — flat floor, one level, nowhere to go. What made me select this one is the vertical design. At six feet tall with tiered climbing platforms and a partially enclosed shelter at the top, this gives a cat genuine territory to explore rather than just a place to sit. The Canadian Hemlock frame with water-based stain is the right material for outdoor use — naturally resistant, properly finished, and built to hold up season after season. For an indoor-only cat getting their first taste of outdoor access, this is the right introduction."
Head of Product CurationIndoor-only cats are safer — but they miss something real. The sights, sounds, and smells of the outdoors are genuine enrichment that no indoor environment fully replicates. This enclosure is designed to give your cat controlled outdoor access without the risks: a fully enclosed wire mesh structure with a solid Canadian Hemlock frame that keeps predators out and your cat safely in. It works equally well placed on a patio, deck, or indoors as a large enrichment enclosure.
The vertical layout is what separates this from basic wire cages. At just over six feet tall, it provides three distinct zones — a large ground-level run area, interior climbing platforms at mid-height, and a partially enclosed shelter area at the top with a black asphalt roof panel that handles rain and sun. Cats naturally seek height when they feel exposed outdoors, and having that option makes the difference between an enclosure a cat avoids and one they actually inhabit. The water-based stain finish on the Canadian Hemlock is both pet-safe and weather-resistant, designed to hold up through seasons of outdoor use.
Assembly is straightforward with all hardware and instructions included. The enclosure can be used as a standalone unit on a patio or deck, or connected to a window or cat door for free-roaming indoor-outdoor access.
*Wood grain and stain tone may vary slightly between production runs. All finishes are water-based and pet-safe. For outdoor use, we recommend placing on a level surface and checking hardware annually.
The Canadian Hemlock frame with water-based stain is designed for outdoor use and can remain outside through normal weather conditions. The asphalt roof panel handles rain effectively. We recommend placing it on a level, well-drained surface and doing an annual check of the hardware and wood condition. In regions with very harsh winters or prolonged heavy rain, bringing it under a covered area or indoors seasonally will extend its lifespan.
Assembly requires basic tools — a screwdriver or drill. All hardware and step-by-step instructions are included. Most customers complete assembly in 1-2 hours with one other person helping to hold panels while securing. We recommend assembling on-site rather than moving it fully built, as at 82 lbs it is easier to assemble in its final location.
Yes — the enclosure can be positioned flush against a window or exterior cat door opening to allow free indoor-outdoor movement. It is not pre-drilled for attachment, so you would secure it to your home using appropriate hardware for your exterior wall type. Many customers use L-brackets or frame ties to keep it stable against the structure. A cat door tunnel connecting the window to the enclosure entry completes the setup.
The wire mesh panels and solid wood frame are designed to keep cats safely enclosed and deter common predators like raccoons and neighborhood dogs. The mesh is secured to the frame throughout. For areas with particularly persistent wildlife, we recommend placing the enclosure on a hard surface like a patio or deck rather than directly on soil, and ensuring all latches are secured each time your cat enters or exits.
Most indoor cats take to outdoor enclosures enthusiastically once they realize it is safe — the sensory stimulation of outdoor smells, sounds, and light is genuinely enriching for them. For cautious cats, introduce it gradually: start with the door open and let them explore at their own pace, ideally on a warm, calm day. Placing a familiar blanket or toy inside helps. Within a few sessions most cats are going in and out independently. The vertical climbing structure and enclosed upper shelter are particularly appealing to cats who prefer to observe from height.
This thing is so cool! It was really easy to assemble and I am not handy at all. Definitely a two person job but the directions are easy to follow. My cats love it. The door at the top allows them to come in and out as they please through my window. The design is more sleek and not as bulky as some of the others I have seen. It barely takes up any space (though it is tall) but all 4 of my cats fit comfortably and two of them are about 15 pounds so there is plenty of space. They are happier cats having access to the outside like this and I don’t have to worry about them running away or getting hurt. I can not recommend this enough! Mine does not sit in grass but on stone. I added a fake grass carpet to the bottom and the box enclosure and they love it. I also added two hammocks for them to lay in and they still have plenty of space to move and enjoy the enclosure.
