The frame is co-extruded furniture-grade PVC — a hard, glossy outer shell fused with a structural inner core that holds its shape and finish over years of use. At this height the wide base and low center of gravity remain the primary stability mechanism, though wall anchoring is worth considering for very active or heavy cats. Fabric options include Heavy Duty 40oz Vinyl (wipe clean with soap or disinfectant, the professional standard), Perforated Vinyl (same durability with added airflow), and Outdoor Mesh (an open waterproof weave for catio and outdoor setups). Purchased for my cats bedroom. I need a bunk bed for the cats. Plenty of spaces for my 10 cats to sleep on. It is at a window and when I say good morning several are on it. We have had it for a year now and looks new. I also purchased the cloth covers and they are in good shape. I don't know how but the cats can untie the knots I put in to hold them on the beds. I purchased a 4 step one to go beside this one to give an exit and entrance space for the main tall tree. A successful sleeping system for my cat family. Sturdy and steady on the floor.

We bought this 9-tier PVC Cat Tree to put outside on our deck as a step ladder to the roof for our 2 male Maine Coon brothers. We have some trees leaning up against the house and over the roof that the cats have been using but need to cut those trees down before they smash the house. It took a little while but now our cats are using this awesome cat tree several times per day to access the roof to run and chase mice, birds and squirrels. Expensive but worth the investment! Easy to power wash clean and blow leaves off. Sturdy, looks great on the deck and come summer the Coons will lounge on it from their nice high perches. Awesome much needed product.
