 Daily Cat reader Linda Jackson wrote in recently to say, "I love your site. I am a huge cat lover and currently have 10 -- almost all rescued from abusive situations or found alone on the streets. I love them all. They are spoiled, get excellent care and have more toys and things to play on than any Toys 'R' Us could supply a kid. They are everything to me, and such joy and companionship. I keep food out for any homeless babies that are hungry during the night. It seems like wherever I go, cats know they will be safe with me!"
Linda, thanks for being a cat angel and looking after homeless kitties. We all wish we could take in every one of them, don't we? And I agree that cats know who their angels are. When we found Mei Mei, she was sitting in the middle of a busy sidewalk, but I am the only person she walked up to. My husband says people like us have a sign on our backs that's visible only to cats. It says, "Cat Lottery winners, redeem your tickets here.' |
