Cat Facts: Editor's Letter Too Weird By Beth Adelman for Cat Facts |
 My husband and I are New York Yankees fans, and were watching a game last week on television against the St. Louis Cardinals. The first baseman, Tino Martinez, used to be a Yankee, and he was one of our favorite players, and we were talking about him as we watched the game.
Suddenly we heard a squeaky little voice say "Ti-no." It was close to suppertime, and I think Yin Yin was trying to get our attention. But she clearly said "Tino." We both heard it. Neither one of us mentioned it, and we continued our conversation. A few minutes later, I said to my husband, "You know, Yin Yin said Tino." "Yes, I heard it," he replied. "Please don't say anything else about it; it's just too weird." |
