Your unit will be approximately 26" tall, with a trunk approximately 3" in diameter and a base approximately 8" wide by 3 1/2" thick. There are felt pads on the base protect your floors. The feather toys will sway and turn with the slightest air movement. If you place the scratcher where there is some air movement your kitty won't be able to resist it.

And, this scratcher has a mouse hole with mouse! Well, a ping pong ball that acts like a mouse. When your kitty probes in the 6" deep hole for the ball it rolls up and away, then when she removes her paw from the mouse hole the ball comes back with a "pong" sound.
