The 77" tree is attatched to our 24"x24" wobble-free base. Check out the bracing on our trees. The taller the tree the more shelves you get. The shelf measures 12"x12" and is securely fastened to our wood posts. Able to support over 100lbs. the shelves are spaced so gettig to the top is easy for all cats! The 40" tree is shipped fully assembled. The 60" and 77" require some easy assembly.
