The entire inside and outside of the cabinet has been finished with a moisture proof polyurethane finish.
Also, the joints in the entire inside of the cabinet are sealed. Both of these procedures are to insure
that urine and odors do not penetrate the wood. In 8 to 10 months, the entire
inside of the cabinet needs to be cleaned with bleach and water, lightly sanded, and a good
polyurethane applied to keep the product moisture proofed. Instructions will be included.

The wooden ledge over the litter pan keeps the exess scratched litter inside the pan. It will help but not
eliminate tracking.
